How to choose gate, garden & outdoor lights
Check the IP rating
Outdoor lights face rain and dust. Pick IP65 or higher for open areas; IP64 suits most covered garden spots. The rating is printed on the box and in the product details.
Choose by the job
Gate and pillar lights mark the entrance; spike lights point up at trees, plants and walls; bollards light paths and driveways at knee height; façade and highlighter lights wash the front of a building.
Colour
Warm white (about 3000K) makes plants and stone look rich and welcoming. Some spike and highlighter lights come in RGB on order; ask us.
Wiring
Plan the cable and switch points before laying tiles or paving.
