Buying guide
How to choose LED drivers, controllers & sensors
Match the voltage
A 12V strip needs a 12V driver and a 24V strip needs a 24V driver. Never mix them.
Size the driver
Add up the strip's watts (watts per metre × metres) and choose a driver about 20% bigger. For example, 5 m of 12 W/m strip is 60W, so use a driver of about 75W or more.
Indoor or outdoor
Use a waterproof or rainproof power supply for façades and outdoor strips; slim drivers fit inside false ceilings and furniture.
Controllers and sensors
Single-colour, tunable-white, RGB and addressable strips each need a matching controller. Sensors switch wardrobe, stair and washroom lights automatically.
