How to choose LED bulbs
Pick the wattage by the room
A 9W LED bulb gives about the light of an old 60W bulb. For a bedroom or bathroom, 7W–12W is usually enough; halls, shops and godowns need 20W and above, or one of the 30W–60W high-wattage bulbs.
Check the base
B22 is the push-and-twist pin base used in most Indian homes; E27 is the screw base. Not sure? Bring your old bulb or send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Warm or cool white
Cool white (6500K) is the bright, crisp light most people use in kitchens, shops and work areas. Warm white (around 3000K) is softer for bedrooms and living rooms.
Power cuts?
Rechargeable inverter and emergency bulbs work like a normal bulb and keep giving light for a few hours when the power goes.
